Bio
April Hawkins has over 20 years experience managing archaeological material culture in major museums, archaeology storehouses, and in the excavation trench.
Currently April manages the Archaeology of the Americas collection at the Royal Ontario Museum, and recently engaged over 50,000 visitors with an exhibit based on Toronto archaeology, which began with an interactive map, Toronto Underfoot, and subsequently grew into a permanent gallery exhibit.
