Description
In a visit through the ROM’s galleries, students discover patterns in the natural world. Students identify examples of repetition and symmetry, study the functions of patterns, and observe and draw patterns. Learn about the role of patterns in the natural world through guided discovery and using hands-on specimens.
Curriculum links: identify and extend a repeating, growing, and shrinking pattern; demonstrate an understanding of patterns that result from repeating an action or using a transformation
