E-Volunteering in Wikipedia

Through our e-Volunteer program, you can work from your home or on your own here in the galleries, library, or Food Studio Café. With 30 galleries displaying thousands of objects from our collections, we need volunteers to photo document, research, and publish information in Wikipedia. The link below provides a step-by-step guide for learning the basics of creating and editing high-quality Wikipedia articles and better understanding the free resources the Royal Ontario Museum provides to help in your research. Visit the ROM's Wikipedia Hub to learn more about e-Volunteering and watch the videos below to hear from expert Wikipedians.

If you're interested in e-Volunteering, head right to the ROM's Wikipedia Hub to get started or contact Molly McGowan at mollymc@rom.on.ca, ROM Wikipedian in Residence or Ryan Dodge, Social Media Coordinator at mobile@rom.on.ca
