Member Evening

Exclusively for Members. Registration Begins August 29.

Please join us on Thursday, October 3 between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. for an exclusive Member Evening. Members and Patrons are invited to bring a guest and enjoy after-hours access to galleries and special exhibitions.

Enjoy select galleries on Levels 1, 2, and 3, and our new exhibitions Earth: An Immersive JourneyWild Catsand Quilts: Made in Canada.

What to Expect:

Level 1:

  • Visit Earth: An Immersive Journey and embrace the wonders of nature.
  • Speak with ROM experts in the Wild Cats exhibition and see real objects not on display.
  • Enjoy a special, one-night-only 30% discount at ROM Boutique and temporary Wild Cats Boutique.
  • Enjoy live music performed by The Nat Beja Jazz Trio.
  • Cash Food Stations*
  • Cash bar*

    • Ontario VQA Wines, Beer, Cider, RTD Non-alcoholic Cocktails, and Non-alcoholic beer are available, for purchase.
    • Soft drinks are free.
    • Complimentary chips and popcorn are available at the bars.

* Food and Cash bars close at 9:00 pm or while stocks last. Ticket sales close at 8:45 pm. $10 per food item. $10 per drink ticket. Credit/Debit only.

Level 2:

  • Age of Dinosaurs Gallery

    • Speak with a ROM expert and see real specimens.
  • Earth’s Treasures Gallery

    • Speak with ROM Experts and see critical minerals that are the essential building blocks needed to realize a clean energy future. Bonus: some of them are gorgeous!
    • A cash bar is located in this gallery.
  • Dawn of Life Gallery

    • Speak with ROM experts about:

      • A new armoured worm and taco-shaped critter from the Burgess Shale.
      • New fossil seaweed.
      • 2024 fieldwork updates. Trilobite lovers beware!
  • Life in Crisis: Schad Gallery of Biodiversity

    • Speak with ROM experts:

      • Vampire bats and ROM's Bats of Ontario collection. See real specimens.
      • Fall is for colourful trees and falling leaves! But every tree is different. Learn why and explore all our trees with a ROM author of the ROM Field Guide to Trees of Ontario.
      • A new and well-curated collection of over 12,000 insect specimens.
      • A fun game of Fact or Fiction
      • Cutting-edge research. See real shark specimens, from a baby whale shark to the specialized jaws of a cookie-cutter shark, to bioluminescent sharks.

Level 3:

  • Quilts: Made in Canada

    • Enjoy a mini-tour and learn about these beautiful quilts. Tours start at 7 pm, 7:25 pm, 7:50 pm, 8:15 pm, and 8:40 pm at the entrance to the exhibition.
  • Ancient Greek and Roman Galleries

    • View real objects and speak with ROM experts.
  • Haunted ROM Tour

    • Enjoy a mini-tour and discover the history of the Museum.
    • Tours start at 7 pm, 7:25 pm, 7:50 pm, 8:15 pm, and 8:40 pm inside Ancient Greek and Roman Galleries.
  • European Gallery

    • Touch real specimens
    • Relax with adult colouring and enter a contest, for a chance to win a prize.
    • Play a fun game of Trivia - ROM Style. Show off your knowledge of art, culture, and nature as our quiz master fires off questions about Canada's most visited museum.
