Registration Coming Soon!

Feline Good: Movement for Wellness
Sunday, October 20, 2024, 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Connect with your body and mind in an engaging movement and conversation-based program. Feline Good is an interactive, movement-based program designed to promote physical and mental well-being by drawing inspiration from the instinctive movements of wild cats. In a world that often feels hurried and disconnected, this workshop invites participants to slow down and rediscover the joy of movement, enhance body awareness, and practice mindfulness.

A 30-minute guided tour of the Wild Cats exhibition begins the session, where we’ll discuss movement and wellness through the unique lens of wild cats as well as practical tools for incorporating wellness into daily life. Following the tour, we’ll put these discussions into practice in a 1-hour movement workshop, facilitated by movement coaches Jonelle Gunderson and Dejah Dixon-Green.

This workshop is open to all. If you have any accessibility needs or concerns, please contact Folly Fowowe, Community Engagement Coordinator, at  folake.fowowe@rom.on.ca.
