President’s Choice School Entrance. Doors open at 4:30 PM.

ROM’s popular ID Clinics are a great way to identify your mysterious found treasures, all while engaging with ROM staff and volunteers. Bring your rocks, minerals, gems, and fossils and ROM experts will help identify them for you. Clinics are free with RSVP.  All participants are required to register for a ticket (kids included).

To ensure clinic time for all visitors, please note the following limits:

Rocks/ Fossils/ Minerals: No more than 3 per registered visitor.

Jewelry/ Faceted gemstones: No more than 2 per registered visitor. 

Please note: no appraisals will be provided, or value ascribed to specimens brought to the ID clinics. ROM does not purchase specimens at these programs. ROM is unable to identify archaeological material as part of these clinics.  

IMPORTANT:  ID Clinics run concurrently with ROM Third Tuesday Night Free (TTNF). No tickets are required to attend TTNF; however, anyone attending the ID clinics who also wish to attend TTNF will be required exit the clinic area and re-enter the Museum via one of the two main entrances.
