Join us for an engaging conversation with activist Cleve Jones, the AIDS Memorial Quilt's visionary founder, and Canadian AIDS Society Executive Director Ken Miller, as they explore the lasting legacy of the AIDS quilt, and the relationship between textile arts, intimacy and care, and the politics surrounding craft and the AIDS epidemic. Hosted by Valerie Pringle, the evening also features a live performance by Forte – Toronto Gay Men's Chorus.

Led by Julie Hollenbach, and featuring mixed media artist Carla Hemlock and Casey House Quilting Committee member Glenn Bell, this panel discussion sheds light not only on quilts as creative and cathartic outlets for makers, but on their power to build resonating narratives, and the role of cultural institutions in raising these narratives for audiences to engage with.
