ROM After Dark is the popular after-hours adult (19+) event series that features curated music, visual arts, performances, and distinctive food and drink.

Have a purr-fect night at RAD: Catnip, which will feature inspiring performances, high-energy DJ sets, and cat-inspired activities. Plus, you’ll get one free drink* and have full access to all our exhibitions including Wild Cats!

Performances

• Ori Dagan: The Toronto jazz artist dubbed by the CBC as “Canada’s Next Top Crooner” will be performing a cat cabaret in our C5 Lounge.
• Kitten Kaboodle: This Canadian drag performer and costume designer, who competed on season 4 of Canada's Drag Race, will be performing their fierce Feline Finale on the main stage.
• Moneka Arabic Jazz Band: This dynamic ensemble blends Moneka’s African and Iraqi heritage, along with elements of funk, jazz, hip hop, and reggae to create a unique sound that grooves hard and will move your body and spirit. 
• DJ Cozmic Cat: A DJ whose fun performances are rooted in electronica house fused with everything from funky club sounds to disco, Latin, pop, and soul.  

Experiences

• Cat Whisker Face Paint: Add a touch of feline charm and get into the night's theme with cat whiskers.  
• Live Painting by Katrina Canedo: Have you heard about the legendary ROM cat, Cheddar? Whether you have or not, you can see Cheddar immortalized in art as professional artist Katrina Canedo will be doing a live painting of our favorite furry friend! 
• Cat Adult Colouring Books: Get creative and bring home your own cat art. 
• Local Craft Beer: Enjoy the delicious beers and ciders of a bunch of local breweries and cideries, including Indie Ale House, Avling, Couchiching Craft Brewing Co., and County Cider Co.
