TORONTO, October 6, 2016 — The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is pleased to announce that CHIHULY, featuring the dramatically colourful artworks of internationally acclaimed artist Dale Chihuly, now closes on Sunday, January 8, 2017. On display in the ROM’s Garfield Weston Exhibition Hall, the exhibition showcases 11 large-scaled works, some newly created for the unique space, in addition to series favourites.
CHIHULY is the inspiration for this year’s ROM for the Holidays (RFTH) programming. From December 26, 2016 to January 8, 2017, visitors of all ages can expect a full slate of rich and vibrant activities. Additional CHIHULY-themed events for the holiday season include the #FNLROM finale on November 25 and a spectacular ROM New Year’s Eve party on Saturday, December 31.
Admission to CHIHULY is timed ticketed: Members: FREE; Adults: $29.00; Seniors/Students: $26.50; and Children (4-14 years): $21.00. Tickets are available on-line.
