Trip Information

Experience the best of Argentina’s culture, food, wine and some of the most magnificent scenery in the world.

In Buenos Aires, visit the Recoleta neighbourhood's iconic buildings evocative of Paris, the Recoleta Cemetery with its labyrinth of sculptures and monuments, the extensive parks and rose garden in the Palermo neighbourhood, and the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA). Explore the cobblestone streets of the SanTelmo district, the brightly painted houses of the La Boca neighbourhood, and the most important buildings of this amazing capital city, including the majestic Teatro Colón Opera House. Enjoy the Paraná Delta’s elegant San Isidro district and take a boat cruise of the Delta’s Tigre area to get a taste of Argentine-style cottage life.

In Patagonia, discover World Heritage sites at Peninsula Valdés by boat, keeping an eye out for Southern right whales, Southern sea lions, Southern elephant seals, cormorants, and other local wildlife along the way. Visit the Punta Tombo Magellanic penguin reserve.

At Patagonia’s southern tip, explore the Perito Moreno Glacier, and other glaciers surrounding Lake Argentino – all part of Los Glacieras National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage site.

In the Mendoza region – “land of the sun and good wine” – visit several wineries and indulge in the culinary offerings of their great chefs. Mix your own wine and label it; a panel of sommeliers will judge the result.

Explore the lower Andes Mountains to see the Potrerillos Dam and awe-inspiring mountain landscapes.
