Exclusively for Members. Registration is Required.

Please join us on Tuesday, July 9 between 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. for an exclusive Member Evening. Members and Patrons are invited to bring a guest and enjoy after-hours access to galleries and special exhibitions.

Enjoy select galleries on Levels 1, 2, and 3, and our new exhibitions Earth: An Immersive JourneyWild Catsand Quilts: Made in Canada.

What to Expect:

Level 1:

  • Visit Earth: An Immersive Journey and embrace the wonders of nature.
  • Speak with a ROM expert in the Wild Cats exhibition.
  • ROM Boutique

    • Enjoy a special one-night-only 30% discount at ROM Boutique.
  • Enjoy live music performed by The Nat Beja Trio.
  • Cash Food Stations*
  • Cash bar*

    • Ontario VQA Wines, Beer, Cider, RTD Non-alcoholic Cocktails, and Non-alcoholic beer are available for purchase.
    • Soft drinks are free.
    • Complimentary chips and popcorn are available at the bars.

* Food and Cash bars close at 8:30 pm or while stocks last. Ticket sales close at 8:15 pm. $10 per food item. $10 per drink ticket. Credit/Debit only.

Level 2:

  • James and Louise Temerty Galleries of the Age of Dinosaurs

    • Speak with a ROM expert about the work done in the dinosaur lab to prepare dinosaur fossils for display.
  • Teck Suite of Galleries: Earth’s Treasures

    • Play a fun game of Fact or Fiction
    • A bar is located in this gallery.
  • Dawn of Life Gallery

    • Learn about a well-preserved new fossil species from the half-a-billion-year-old Burgess Shale.
    • Meet the oldest swimming jellyfish in the fossil record. Burgessomedusa is one of the 505-million-year-old fossil specimens discovered at the Burgess Shale fossil locality, located within Yoho and Kootenay National Parks of Canada in British Columbia. This exceptionally preserved 505-million-year-old swimming jellyfish from the Burgess Shale highlights the diversity of life in the Cambrian Period ecosystem. 
  • Life in Crisis: Schad Gallery of Biodiversity

    • Speak with ROM experts:

      • Hear about the Bats of Ontario and see real specimens.
      • Learn about the ‘lost’ Lichens, a scientifically important and beautiful old collection.
      • Touch a shark, a stingray, a catfish covered in teeth, and more.

Level 3:

  • Quilts: Made in Canada

    • Join a mini-tour and learn about these beautiful quilts.
    • Tours are 15 minutes long and will start at 7 pm, 7:20 pm, 7:40 pm, 8 pm, and 8:20 pm.  But feel free to join in on a tour at any time.
  • European Gallery

    • Touch real specimens.
    • Relax with adult colouring and enter a contest, for a chance to win a prize.
    • From 6:30 to 8:30 pm, play a fun whirlwind game of trivia - ROM Style. Show off your knowledge of art, culture, and nature as our quiz master fires off questions about Canada's most visited museum.
