ROM Friday Night Live Encore: One Love Celebrates Bob Marley

#FNLROM returns on Friday, February 5, 2016 for special rhythmic night


TORONTO, January 28, 2016 -- Friday Night Live (FNL), presented by Ford of Canada, returns to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) on Friday, February 5, 2016 for a special encore, One Love, paying tribute to Bob Marley. Running from 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm, FNL features musical performances, Toronto’s top food vendors, and the exhibition of Water Carry Me Go, an exploratory art dialogue that highlights seven rising Afrodiasporic designers. Water Carry Me Go is conceived and curated by Chinedu Ukabam, Toronto-based fashion designer and Creative Director of SUPAFRIK and Afrotropolis Arts Collective.

Feeling the One Drop
Known for their uplifting reggae fusion sound, and bringing together elements of Soul, Hip Hop, and Roots Reggae, Feeling the One Drop are natives of Toronto and have performed on the national and international stage.

GUMBO
Hosted by Wan and Chi, join DJ Revy B as she starts the party off with a soundtrack for Afrofusion dance class, choreographed by Esie Mensah and Pulga Muchochoma, and learn the latest dances from Africa and the West Indies.

DJ K.I.
Known for his diverse mixing, DJ K.I. has been entertaining party goers for two decades - join us on the mainstage for the hottest tracks in Reggae, Jazz, Soul, Funk, R&B, House, Soca, and Latin.

Hot Bunzz, Curbside Bliss, Rachel's Gourmet, Tita Flips, Fidel Gastro, Gushi Foods, Mnandi Pies, Mustache Burger, Ice Volcano Ice Cream, Young Animals, and King Catering.

FNLROM Tickets
Tickets are only available at the door. FNL is $5 for ROM Members, $15 for General Admission, and $13 for Students.
