ROM open this Civic Holiday Weekend with regular hours and ROM Summer Fridays

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) offers regular operating hours during the Civic Holiday weekend. Visitors can expect engaging events and exhibitions. This includes ROM Summer Fridays, presented by the Beaches International Jazz Festival, and Total ROM Experience, an opportunity to experience the exhibitions, CHIHULY and Tattoos: Ritual. Identity. Obsession. Art. with special admission rates.

WHAT: Civic Holiday Weekend at the ROM highlights include:

ROM Summer Fridays, a chance to stroll through ROM galleries, take in films and live music, and enjoy discounted ROM Museum admission from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm
The Total ROM Experience, featuring a special offer on Museum admission and access to CHIHULY, and Tattoos. Pricing details are available here
Wildzone Workshops, get hands-on with ROM specimens, from feathers to bones
ROM Tours: join general Museum tours, tours of specific galleries, or tours of special exhibitions (many are free with ROM General Admission)
Other exhibitions currently on view at the ROM include: A Third Gender: Beautiful Youths in Japanese Prints, The Franklin Exploration, Made in China, and Point & Punch: Historical Editorial Cartoons of J.W. Bengough (1851-1923) and Sam Hunter (1858-1939)
ROMwalk Plus: Kensington, a walking tour of Toronto’s historic district; participants should meet at North East corner of Dundas Street West and Denison Avenue

ROM Tours run from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm from Saturday, July 30 to Monday, August 1

ROMwalk Plus, on Sunday, July 31^st, at 2pm, is $10.00 and tickets are available here
