April is a big month in history for Inuit peoples. The territory of Nunavut was formed on April 1, 1999. This episode’s art activation celebrates this recent historical event with an Inukshuq art activity and an Inuit drum dance lesson with Inuit Knowledge Keeper Naulaq LeDrew.

Basic materials required for the art activity: pencil and eraser, black and gray crayons/pencil crayons or markers, several sheets of blank white paper.
