About

In this episode, join us and make cards to appreciate the mothers, mother figures, aunties, and anyone in similar roles in our lives who are worth celebrating all year round. The activity will be followed by a pow wow dance lesson with Deanne Hupfield, Anishnaabe from Temagami First Nation, who will share how her mother encouraged her to learn about pow wow dancing.

Basic materials required for the art activity: pencil, eraser, ruler, coloured pencils or crayons, and several sheets of blank paper.

Zoom webinar recorded on May 10, 2021.

Generously supported by The Slaight Family Foundation.
