ACTIVITY: Leaf reliefs

MATERIALS: 

• leaves
• paper
• crayons
• watercolour paint

DIRECTIONS

• Step 1: Find a few leaves in your backyard or in a local park. Look for leaves with big ridges.
• Step 2: Put the leaves in a pattern, then place your paper on top.
• Step 3: Using crayons, colour over top of the leaves, revealing them on the page. Then use watercolour paint over the crayon to create a bit of texture. Finally, behold your masterpiece!
