Bio

Chris serves as an Executive Chairman of the Board of Roadrunner Transportation Systems (RRTS), a leading national asset-light Less-ThanTruckload (‘LTL’) transportation and supply chain solutions provider offering metro-to-metro regional consolidation services across the United States.

Chris is Executive Chairman and CEO of Ascent Global Logistics, a privatelyowned freight forwarding and domestic brokerage services provider. Chris is Executive Chairman of Aero-on-Demand, a leading cargo jet charter, customized and expedited less-than-truckload, truckload logistics, and air freight cargo solutions provider across North America and its fully owned airline USA Jet as well as Arctic-on-Demand and Rambler airlines in Alaska. Chris has led the transformative investment in GlobalX (TSXV: JET), a full-service passenger and cargo airline headquartered in Miami, FL.

Chris is the founding partner of LyonIX Holdings LLC, a specialty investment, equipment leasing and direct operations private fund focused on creating shareholder value through active executive management of portfolio companies in transportation, logistics and cyber security.

Until recently, Chris served as acting CEO and Executive Chairman of Emergent Cold, an Elliott Management-backed international specialty logistics provider focused on the global cold chain. Formerly, a Chairman of the Board of CMS Info Systems, Baring Private Equity Asia portfolio-company and one of the largest secure logistics and the 5th largest ATM services companies in the world. Prior to that, Chris was CEO and Executive Chairman of STG Logistics, North America’s fastest growing provider of specialty 3PL and transportation services critical to the global supply chain.

In 2018 Chris was nominated jointly by the Prime Minister of Poland and the US State Department to represent the nation’s economic interests in the United States, based in Washington, DC.

He also serves as Governor of the Royal Ontario Museum (‘ROM’) Foundation, Canada’s largest museum, and was previously appointed by the Premier to the ROM Board of Trustees. Chris received the ROM Donor of Merit Award in 2017.

Previously, Chris was President and COO of Garda Cash Logistics leading it to became #1 currency supply chain, secure logistics and cash business services provider in North America; including Ameriflight – a leading air cargo services provider in the US with a fleet of over 230 owned fixed wing aircraft. Prior to Garda, Chris was a top executive at one of the best-established investment banking groups, globally, as the Head of JPMorgan in Canada.

Lifelong advocate of education, promoting diversity and inclusion, and mentorship. Chris has been a tenured mentor to students at Schulich School of Business. He served as Co-Founder and Chairman at United Foundation for the Education of Children (‘UFFTEC’). In 2013, he was awarded the Florida Governor’s Business Ambassador Medal. In 2016, Chris was appointed to CoChair Canada 150 Advisory Committee to oversee the preparations to celebrate the country’s 150th anniversary of confederation.

Chris has a BA in Business Studies with First Class Honors (Summa Cum Laude) from Birmingham City University in the UK; and an MBA with Distinction from York University in Canada.

Chris is a member of the ‘YPO’ Miami Chapter. In 2020, Chris was accepted into the Chief Executives Organization (CEO), the exclusive organization for distinguished leaders of YPO. Membership is by invitation-only and limited to 2,000 worldwide.
