Suresh Bhalla is a retired senior financial executive who has worked with several major Canadian and US banks during his distinguished banking career, spanning three decades, that began with Bank of America in India.

Arriving in Montreal in the mid-1970s, Mr. Bhalla then started his career in international banking with Bank of Montreal. He progressed in investment banking to co-lead the derivatives business at Citibank Canada, eventually heading derivatives marketing at Royal Bank of Canada. In 1992 he established his own business in risk and investment management with a collaborator in the U.S.
