About

Join us for "Practice English," a drop-in program for anyone on their English language learning journey, no matter their level. Stop by our desk at the far end of Currelly Gallery between 4:00 and 6:30 PM on Tuesday, January 21 to participate.

In January, we will explore the exhibit on Sports and Entertainment in Ancient Rome, using the artifacts on display to help you start interesting conversations with our staff, our volunteers and with other language learners. Practice English is not a language class, but rather, it’s a great way to build your language skills and meet new people while enjoying the museum’s amazing collections.

Admission to ROM is free on Tuesday, January 21 from 4:00 to 8:30 PM.

Held every month during Third Tuesday Nights Free

This event is open to everyone, from beginners to advanced learners, alone or with family. We explore a gallery of the museum in small groups so you can practice speaking and listening in a friendly setting. We will give you language material that matches your skill level, making it easier to talk about what you see in the gallery.
