ROM After Dark (RAD) is the popular after-hours adult (19+) event series that features curated music, live performances, and distinctive food and drink.

Yeehaw! Get ready for the next RAD, where we’re bringing country vibes and fresh spring energy to the Museum. This special Earth Day edition, presented in partnership with Boots and Hearts and the CCMA, is packed with toe-tapping, side-stepping performances and interactive fun—from lively lawn games and immersive selfie booths to climate-focused activities and surprises around every corner. Plus, each visitor gets a free drink ticket* and access to Nature in Brilliant Colour and Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

Sarah Vanderzon

A singer and songwriter whose musical stylings blend folk, pop and country all into one. 2023 marked a big year for Sarah as she was a finalist on Quebec’s spin off of The Voice, “La deuxième voix” coached by Quebec icon Roxane Bruneau. While Sarah wasn’t quite sure if her sound was country enough, she took a chance and applied for the Emerging Artist Showcase at Canada’s largest country music festival, Boots and Hearts, where she won in 2024.

Country singer and Bracebridge local Cam Galloway made waves when he took the Boots and Hearts stage for the Emerging Artists Showcase in 2024. Cam has been performing original music since he was 15 and has become an exciting artist to watch as he's gaining popularity on the Country music scene!

SPURS

Dust off your cowboy boots and join a line dancing workshop! Based in the history of LGBTQ+ country and western dancing, SPURS combines traditional steps with a range of music—from new country to contemporary pop. Once you've perfected your moves, hit the dance floor as the SPURS DJ keeps the party going with crowd-pleasing country favourites late into the night.

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Karla’s astute instincts and eye for musical talent led her to play a key role in the early career stages of Grammy award winning artist Drake. A trusted source in the music industry, Karla has gone from doing sets at major nightclubs and underground parties, to spinning at corporate events and venues attended by former U.S. first lady Michelle Obama and NBA extraordinaire, Lebron James.
