About

Delve into colour harmony, complementary colour, and how different hues can evoke emotions and enhance stories told  in photographs in a half-day workshop with professional photographer David Coulson. Using lighting, composition, and filter techniques, participants will learn how to bring out the best colours in their images.  Using award-winning examples of colour in photography from the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition as samples, participants will discuss how to bring colour to life, then practice their new skills in the Nature in Brilliant Colour exhibition and ROM’s permanent galleries.

To get the most out of the workshop's hands-on activities, we encourage participants to bring a fully charged camera or cellphone, and we recommend a charging cable and wall adapter.
