About
With artist and illustrator Tina J. Seemann as your guide, experience the incredible world of birds through your sketchbook. This half-day drawing workshop features in class introduction to the anatomy of these charismatic creatures, and explores the basic and more advanced drawing techniques that can help you capture the wide variety of birds on the page. Working from the skeleton out, practice your drawing skills using unique and dynamic specimens displayed in exhibitions and galleries at ROM.
This program develops participants’ art skills while also heightening their understanding and appreciation of the biology of birds, and is suitable for beginners and those with some basic drawing skills. Your afternoon will include access to bird specimens in Nature in Brilliant Colour (while on view) and/or the galleries on Level 2.
Participants should be prepared to bring basic art materials. A materials list will be provided.
