Join ROM Curator Fahmida Suleman for an engaging conversation with author Nadeem Mansour as he delves into his deeply personal and beautifully illustrated book, Thuraya: Recipes From Our Family's Kitchen in Jordan. This richly illustrated culinary memoir features over 120 recipes passed down from his mother, Thuraya, offering an intimate glimpse into the flavors and traditions of Middle Eastern home cooking.
Thuraya has been honored with four nominations at the prestigious Gourmand World Cookbook Awards and has been shortlisted as a finalist in three categories: Family, Mediterranean, and the prestigious Best of the Best.
Following the conversation, audience members will be treated to light refreshments, and a viewing of ROM’s new installation, Picnics and Pastimes.
