Bio

Mary Anne is a globally experienced business executive, attorney and board member drawing on her extensive knowledge and management expertise gained in the automotive and steel industries in her roles as President, CEO and board member of a global Tier one automotive parts supplier a board and audit committee member of a leading European Automotive Parts Supplier and a board member of publicly traded North American Integrated steel manufacturer. She demonstrates strong leadership abilities in organizational transformation, driving strategy through innovation and business unit redesign, stakeholder and crisis management and has had tangible success in building international relationships through joint ventures and other global alliances.

Mary Anne has demonstrated a commitment to ensuring a corporate culture of safety, diversity and inclusion and a continuing focus on Environmental Social Governance while increasing shareholder value through dedication to world class manufacturing, excellence in execution and launch, innovation through R&D and managing the complex drivers of success in the auto and steel industries.

Her inclusive, consensus building leadership style has been highly effective in both her executive management and board roles.

Mary Anne is currently on the board of Algoma Steel Inc., and a member of its Nominating and Governance Committee, the former CEO and President of ABC Technologies, Vice Chair of its board of directors, former board member and audit committee member of ACPS Automotive based in Europe, former senior Tax Partner, Head of the National Tax Group, and Executive Committee member of the National Law Firm, Heenan Blaikie LLP, Director of the Board of Governors of the Royal Ontario Museum Foundation, Member of the OESA, and a graduate of the ICD.D program (Institute of Corporate Directors Program/Rotman School of Business).

She has completed her ICD.D (Institute of Corporate Directors) certification in the Rotman School of Business, and has a JDLaw from Osgoode Hall and a B. Comm/B.Sc. and MBA from the University of Windsor.

She is on the Nominating and Governance Committee of ROM Foundation and has proudly served as a Governor since 2009.
